Strodes Run Kennel LLC wants your pet to be calm and comfortable. To help prevent any digestive issues, owners must provide their dog’s food. We also encourage you to bring toys, bones and treats (NO rawhide please) for your dog. We feed your dog’s food on your schedule and fresh, cold water is always available to each guest. Medication is administered at no cost. Bedding can be provided, or you are free to bring your own. To schedule your dog’s stay, please call (717) 242-0236. Dogs Enjoy a Safe and Stress-Free Stay at Strodes Run Kennel LLC
With climate-controlled kennels, your pet will always be comfortable at Strodes Run Kennel. We also promote a safe, stress-free environment. Dogs are individually provided three play times daily in our large, outdoor exercise areas, and cats are offered time out of their kennels in a secure, indoor environment. Each pet owner must sign a comprehensive contract that includes information about each animal and spells out emergency procedures and what occurs if veterinary care is needed. We welcome questions about our policies.
Costs for kenneling are:
Dogs – 1-3 days, $25 a day; 4-6 days, $22 a day; 7 or more days, $20 a day. There are discounts for a second dog in the same run and for half days. Long-term pricing is available.
Cats: $20 a day or $120 a week. Discounts for a second cat in the same enclosure.
Your Dog’s Vaccine Records Required for Kennel Boarding
Vaccinations help keep pets healthy in and out of the kennel. Please check your pet’s immunization records or call your veterinarian to ensure that all necessary vaccinations are up to date. Please bring copies of the vaccination records with your pet and its belongings. Pets without the required vaccinations or pets brought without proof of vaccination will be turned away.
